"Dam bukan sebarang dam.  Salah jalan, tak pegi "haji" la jawabnyerr."

Mungkin tak sepopular permainan chess, tapi tak dinafikan permainan dam ni memang memerlukan kemahiran, teknik, pengalaman

dan kecerdasan yang tinggi jugak taw!!!{:4_238:}.  Tambah-tambah lagikk kalu bilangan baris buah dam semakin banyak.  So, jangan dok pandang rendah pada permainan ni.  Tak percaya bole try dam haji...dannn...  Permainan ineh sbenar nyerrberasal dari mesir kuno{:4_185:},dikenali sebagai quirkat atau alquerque

A History Of Checkers/Draughts & Its Origins
Most people arent aware that Checkers has a far greater history than you would probably first imagine, a history which dates back to the times of Ancient Egypt. The Checkers board game was probably known back then as Alquerqueor Quirkat, playing peices and boards for both of these games have been found in archeological digs across the world and have been carbon dated to date back as far as 600 BC. The only major difference between the versions of the game found in the ground and our version, is that the ancient version only had a board of 55 and 10 peices, as opposed to the modern version which has a board of 88 and 12 peices.
This popular board game has also been known under the name of Fierges, Dame and Plaisant. But ultimately the game is most well known for being called the Checkers Board Game (In North America only) and Draughts in most other English speaking countries.
Despite people confusing Checkers with Chinese Checkers they are actually completely different games. Chinese Checkers isnt actually Chinese at all, it originated in Germany in the early 1900s. Equally the name Checkers bares no resemblance to the the Checkers Board Game.

cubak search pasal   pachisi pasti u akn tahu asalusul game dam ulo{:4_243:}

History Of Snakes And Ladders
Not many people know that the game of Snakes and Ladders actually started in India, and was originally a morality-based game known as Vaikuntapaali or Paramapada Sopanam ("ladder to salvation"). This explains the presence of snakes and ladders in this game: the ladders represent good deeds and the snakes represent sins -- hence the ladders and snakes figuratively represent moral ascent and descent respectively. Significantly, in this original version of the game the number of snakes was greater than the number of ladders, indicating that following the path of righteousness and life is much more tricky than succumbing to sin. The game ultimately ended up in Victorian England around 1892 and subsequently became an extremely popular classic to be played by children on rainy days. The game of Snakes and Ladders was also eventually introduced to the United States by Milton Bradley in 1943.
